Delete your Companion account

Companion by AnyCompCo (ANYCOMPCOMPANY LTD) · Last updated: 30 September 2026

You can delete your Companion account and personal data at any time. It removes you from every gym you’ve joined on Companion, and it can’t be undone.

In the app

  1. Open Companion and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile. If you haven’t been approved by a gym yet, use the Your gyms screen instead.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Type DELETE and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and we email you to confirm.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or can’t sign in, email hello@anycompcompany.co.uk from the email address you use for Companion, with the subject “Delete my Companion account”. We may ask you to confirm it’s you. We’ll delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and email you when it’s done.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in (email address and password)
  • Your profile: name, photo, phone, date of birth, gender, weight, belt and emergency contact
  • Your memberships at every gym on Companion
  • Upcoming class bookings
  • Feedback you’ve sent to coaches
  • Devices registered for notifications

Any membership plans you pay for through the app are cancelled first, so you won’t be charged again. Copies in our backups are overwritten within 35 days.

What gyms keep

  • Past class attendance, with your name, phone and photo removed, so the gym’s attendance numbers stay correct.
  • Payment records for memberships and drop-ins, with your email replaced, for up to six years where accounting rules require it. Your gym’s own Stripe account keeps its invoices.
  • Waivers you signed, which gyms keep as a legal record.

If you run a gym

If you’re the only owner of a gym on Companion, make someone else an owner first (Admin → Members), or email us and we’ll help.

More detail is in the Companion privacy policy.
